SURROUND has created a DCAT2-native Linked Data catalogue, built on the RDFlib Open Source Python RDF stack.
We are keen to assist organisations wishing to deliver data catalogues to use CatPrez. It's highly customisable so can be tuned to most cataloguing needs!
Open Source Tools
With our commitment to using standardised data models, SURROUND naturally uses, and promotes customers to use, lots of Open Source software too.
For customers wishing to start on a Semantic Web journey, we recommend model documentation, vocabulary management, data processing and data publication tools within the open, Python-based RDFlib family.
RDFlib Consulting, Maintenance & Training
We provide both consulting on the use of the core RDFlib library itself and provide training for RDFlib use.
Check out our free Jupyter Notbeook for an intro to RDFlib:
We also currently help to maintain RDFlib, so we can guarentee it currency and updates to it to cater for Python and RDF developments, such as handling RDF* (due late 2020!).
We have built lots of tools on top of RDFlib, for instance Cheka, our advanced data validator that can use hierarchical sets of data constraints.
Also, see our ChekaBox: an online, hosted, system that make Cheka easy to use with any RDF data and pyLODE-UI, a Web interface for pyLODE.
